Data deletion.
How to delete the data Kitch holds about you, including data collected via Facebook Login and Instagram Login.
Steps
Disconnect your social account
In your Kitch dashboard, go to Settings → Social platforms and click Disconnect next to your Instagram or Facebook account. This immediately deletes the OAuth access token we hold for your account.
Revoke Kitch's access from Meta
In Facebook or Instagram, go to Settings → Security and Login (Facebook) or Settings → Apps and Websites (Instagram), find Kitch in the list of connected apps, and remove it. This revokes the authorisation on Meta's side.
Request full data deletion
If you want all data Kitch holds about you deleted — including your restaurant profile, menu, and any stored information — email hi@getkitch.app with the subject line "Data deletion request" and the email address associated with your account. We will process the request within 30 days and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
When you request full deletion, Kitch removes: your account and login credentials, your restaurant profile and all associated content (menu, hours, photos, promo), all social OAuth tokens, scheduled posts, and any AI-generated content we hold.
Specifically for data from Meta platforms: we delete the encrypted access token, the connected account name and ID, and any post records associated with your account. We do not retain Facebook or Instagram data after a deletion request is processed.
Stripe payment records are retained as required by financial regulations. Anonymised aggregate analytics (no personal identifiers) may be retained.
Timeline
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted. If you do not receive a confirmation within 30 days, email hi@getkitch.app to follow up.
